The German Career Day event is held at University of Auckland, Pat Hanan Room (Building 207 Room 501), 18 Symonds Street. A Zoom link will be provided for online attendees.

The event will be similar to a "Kaffee & Kuchen". Food (cake and pretzels) and drinks will be provided and attendees will be able to socialise before and after the presentations. There will be time for Q&A between each speaker.
Speakers:
Diana Feick is a Senior Lecturer in German and Applied Linguistics at the University of Auckland. She will talk about Optionen mit Deutsch in Deutschland (options with German in Germany - internships and academic opportunities, etc.)
Monique Surges is the CEO of the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (GNZCC). She will present on Careers with German in NZ.
Marcus Noakes (Press Officer German Embassy) experienced an internship at the German Bundestag. He will be joining us online via Zoom to talk about his first-hand experience with German in New Zealand.
Mareike Schmidt is a Professional Teaching Fellow for German and DAAD Representative at the University of Auckland. She will present on Studium in Deutschland + Stipendienprogramm (Study in Germany + Scholarship Programme).
