The Auckland Goethe Society would like to invite members, guests and especially school and university students to participate in its inaugural German Trivia evening. Structured like a pub quiz, the trivia evening will draw on participants’ general knowledge of all things German. Questions will come from such diverse fields as history, geography, society, popular culture, literature, music and sports and will be presented through a variety of media.

We encourage participants to enter a team of 3-5 people prior to the event (email us with your team name and members at aucklandgoethesociety@gmail.com) but you are welcome to just turn up and we will find a team for you. Everyone will be able to participate in the quiz but for reasons of fairness, native speakers and German teachers will play out of competition. There will be prizes for the best teams and a special prize for the best school team.

Join us at the University of Auckland City Campus (Room 523, Arts 1 Building) for a fun evening, to meet new people and show us how much you know about the German speaking world!
